Initial Study

At OCN, we approach each project with rigorous analysis from the very beginning.

This preliminary study allows us to anticipate risks, optimize solutions, and make informed, well-judged decisions from the outset.

In this way, we prepare a detailed itemized budget, aiming for the quoted price to be the final price, thereby ensuring the financial reliability of the project from day one.

We believe that trust is built through clear and accessible information.

This exercise in transparency not only reinforces the credibility of our proposal but also allows both the client and our team to have a complete and honest view of the current project limits, facilitating future decisions with greater confidence.

We turn the preliminary study into an advanced simulation of the construction process: evaluating systems, logistics, sequences, and the specific needs of each phase.

Preparing a technical proposal is the first step to ensuring the success of the project.

 

We combine efficiency, construction quality, deadline compliance, and a close, transparent relationship with the client.

As an added value, we provide a technical report in which we propose construction improvements and highlight elements still to be defined, fostering continuous improvement.

This document allows the client to have a more realistic view of the project, anticipate key decisions, and avoid misunderstandings during execution.

Planification

Planning at OCN is driven by collaborative methodologies such as Lean Construction, which optimize resources and ensure efficient execution. A realistic and participatory approach allows us to anticipate unforeseen events and meet deadlines with precision.

 

We apply the Lean Construction system, a methodology aimed at maximizing value and minimizing waste, improving efficiency across all phases of the construction process.

This involves mapping the value chain to identify and enhance activities that truly add value, creating a continuous, uninterrupted workflow, establishing a “pull” system that produces only what is needed at the precise moment, clearly specifying what the client considers valuable, and ultimately pursuing excellence through a continuous improvement process.

This approach allows us to reduce waste, optimize collaborative work, align all stakeholders toward common objectives, and foster excellence.

We work with the Last Planner System, a collaborative methodology that allows us to coordinate weekly tasks with precision and realism.

This system starts from a Master Plan, which defines the main milestones and the overall work rhythm, and is translated into a Phase Planning, where upcoming stages are anticipated with the participation of all stakeholders. This advanced planning allows us to identify and resolve issues that could hinder progress in the following weeks, while the Weekly Plan details the specific commitments of each team.

Finally, Daily Control reviews the level of compliance, detects deviations, and establishes corrective actions.

Effective planning also means anticipating potential conflicts.

At OCN, we incorporate a detailed technical analysis in the initial phases to detect interferences, incompatibilities, and construction risks before they arise on site.

We coordinate phases and tasks across disciplines (structure, architecture, installations), review execution sequences, and model construction solutions with the goal of anticipating potential complications, improving coordination, and ensuring a smooth project development.

Digitalization

We integrate advanced technology to manage each phase of the project with precision and transparency.
We work with tools such as ERP, CRM, AI, Power BI, and Microsoft 365, which enable real-time control, optimize resources, and ensure high-quality results.

At OCN, we work with a construction-specialized ERP that connects all areas of the company: administration, finance, procurement, studies, and production.

This approach allows us to closely monitor each project, with up-to-date information on costs, progress, and resources.

In this way, we gain a clear, real-time vision of the status of each project, enabling us to make quick and precise decisions, avoid deviations, and improve overall control.

The entire organization has dashboards with key indicators, tailored to each area and level of responsibility.

Each project has its own dashboard, with metrics that provide an at-a-glance view of its real status: physical progress, actual costs, margins, certifications, incidents, or deviations.

These indicators allow us to detect problems early, make faster and more informed decisions, and improve coordination between production, procurement, and administration.

The information is always up-to-date and available to all teams, ensuring transparency and real control over every project.

At OCN, we are making a strategic commitment to Artificial Intelligence, creating a dedicated department for its development and implementation.

The goal: to become more efficient, reduce errors, and further professionalize our way of working.

We apply AI in key processes such as automatic invoice processing and have automated repetitive tasks so that our teams can focus on what truly adds value: better planning, more precise execution, and delivering a higher-quality service.
